1. General Disclaimer

The MyAlMasjid App and Website are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MyAlMasjid expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement;
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any content in the App;
• Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or harmful components.

2. Prayer Times & Religious Calculations

MyAlMasjid does not guarantee that prayer times are 100% accurate for every location, denomination, or method of calculation. Differences between calculation methods (e.g., ISNA, MWL, Karachi, Umm Al-Qura, Egyptian) and local variations may result in times that differ from your local masjid or Islamic authority.

You are strongly advised to:

• Verify prayer times with your local masjid or a qualified Islamic authority;
• Not rely solely on the App for the performance of obligatory prayers (Fardh Salah);
• Account for local conditions such as weather, geography, and daylight saving time adjustments.

MyAlMasjid shall not be liable for any missed prayers, religious obligations, or spiritual consequences arising from reliance on prayer times displayed in the App.

3. Qibla Direction

The Qibla direction feature uses your device's GPS coordinates and compass sensor to estimate the direction of the Ka'bah (Mecca, Saudi Arabia). This calculation is performed entirely on-device using mathematical algorithms.

MyAlMasjid acknowledges that:

• Device compass accuracy varies by hardware manufacturer and may be affected by magnetic interference;
• GPS accuracy may be limited in indoor environments or areas with poor satellite reception;
• The calculated direction is an approximation and may vary slightly from the exact Qibla direction.

Users should seek confirmation from a qualified Islamic scholar or use a certified Qibla tool for critical determinations. MyAlMasjid shall not be liable for any prayer performed in an incorrect direction due to reliance on the App's Qibla feature.

4. Live Audio (Azan Feature)

The Live Azan feature enables individuals holding the Imam or Muezzin role to broadcast audio in real time to members of their associated masjid. MyAlMasjid:

• Does not monitor, moderate, or review live audio broadcasts in real time;
• Does not record or store live audio streams — all audio is ephemeral and time-limited;
• Is not responsible for the content of audio broadcasts made by individual users;
• Relies on the registered masjid administrators to ensure appropriate use of the broadcast feature.

Misuse of the live audio feature may result in account suspension or termination. Users engaging in unauthorised or inappropriate broadcasts do so at their own risk and responsibility.

5. User-Generated Content

MyAlMasjid may display content submitted by users, including masjid administrators' announcements, prayer schedule updates, and profile information. MyAlMasjid:

• Does not pre-screen or verify all user-generated content before it is published;
• Is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of user-generated content;
• Reserves the right to remove content that violates our Terms of Use.

Users who submit content to MyAlMasjid confirm that they have the right to do so and that the content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

6. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services including Google Firebase, Google AdMob, and Agora.io. These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies, which are beyond MyAlMasjid's control. MyAlMasjid is not responsible for:

• The practices, policies, or security of third-party services;
• Any data collected by third parties through their SDKs embedded in the App;
• Service outages or data breaches experienced by third-party providers.

The App may contain links to third-party websites. MyAlMasjid does not endorse and is not responsible for the content of any linked external sites.

7. Accuracy of Information

While MyAlMasjid strives to ensure that all information within the App and Website is accurate and up to date, we make no representation or warranty of any kind regarding the accuracy, completeness, currency, or suitability of any information contained therein.

Masjid information, facility details, and administrative data are provided by registered masjid representatives. MyAlMasjid cannot independently verify the accuracy of all such submissions.

8. Service Availability

MyAlMasjid does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to the App or its features. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled or emergency maintenance;
• Technical failures of servers, networks, or third-party infrastructure;
• Force majeure events beyond our reasonable control.

MyAlMasjid shall not be held liable for any disruption to services or losses arising from temporary unavailability.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MyAlMasjid and its contributors, affiliates, or service providers shall not be liable for any:

• Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to your use or inability to use the App;
• Loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of profits;
• Errors or omissions in any content or information within the App;
• Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data or transmissions;
• Spiritual or religious consequences arising from reliance on any feature of the App.

This limitation applies regardless of the cause of action, whether in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise, and even if MyAlMasjid has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Religious Guidance Disclaimer

Nothing within the App or Website constitutes Islamic scholarly opinion (fatwa), religious guidance, or authoritative Islamic rulings on any matter. Features such as prayer times, Qibla direction, and Tasbih counter are technological tools provided for convenience only.

For religious rulings, scholarly guidance, or authoritative Islamic opinions, users should consult a qualified Islamic scholar or their local masjid's Imam.

11. Advertising Disclaimer

The App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. MyAlMasjid does not independently select, review, or endorse the content of individual advertisements. The presence of an advertisement does not constitute an endorsement by MyAlMasjid of the advertised product, service, or organisation.

MyAlMasjid has no control over the targeting criteria used by Google to serve advertisements and is not responsible for any transaction between users and advertisers.

12. Changes to This Disclaimer

MyAlMasjid reserves the right to amend this Disclaimer at any time. Changes will be effective upon publication on this Website. The "Effective" date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Disclaimer.
